I've chosen to work school hours so I can be a present mum, which is important to me. It also allows me to prioritise my wellbeing, fitting in regular exercise to help me stay grounded and energised.

To make this work, I'm intentional about managing my boundaries. I diarise my time clearly, and am upfront in my communciations. I'm fortunate to have a strong, supportive team around me, and I've found that being flexible - while still holding firm to what matters - makes a big difference.

Interestingly, working fewer hours has made me more motivated and efficient. I'm focused on what really matters, both at work and at home, and that clarity helps me to deliver impact without burnout.

In our industry, the majority of our graduates are female, yet that is not reflected in leadership. Roles like mine show others - especially women - that is is possible to lead, contribute meaningfully, and still honour personal priorities.
